Maximo (15 feet 3 inches long)
St. Augustine Alligator Farm is home to Maximo, the prized giant saltwater crocodile. One of its unique and scariest attributes are its four inch long tooth. Looking at it is scary already. Knowing that it juts out upwards can put anyone within arm’s length of danger. Another giant in the family, Gomek, was his ancestor. He died weighing more than 2,000 lbs. Maximo gets special exercises from his trainers to keep him fit and healthy.
