Mauna Loa
The U.S. State of Hawaii was made due to volcanic activities. Mauna Loa is just one of five active Hawaiian volcanoes. It is considered as the largest volcano in the world. It is categorized as an active shield volcano, with an estimated volume of approx. 18,000 cubic miles. Mauna Loa eruptions are very fluid and usually non-explosive.
