436-Pound Warsaw Grouper
December the 22nd, 1985 became a memorable day for fisherman Steve Haeusler. That was the day the he successfully reeled in the biggest catch of his life, a 436 pound, 12 ounce Warsaw grouper that he caught in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This was just off the shores of Florida. Until today, it stands as the world record for the biggest and heaviest fish brought in through all-tackle fishing.
