Neyland Stadium: University of Tennessee Volunteers (102,455)

A man named General Robert Neyland was the inspiration for this building. It was originally named Shield-Watkins Field in 1921. But then Neyland wielded his magic wand as the coach of the Volunteers from 1926 to 1934, 1936 to 1940, and 1946 to 1952. He led the school to four National Championships anchored on 6 undefeated seasons. In honor of the man, the venue was renamed in his name in 1962. This is one big tribute for a sports hero!
