South Coast Plaza
This and Aventura Mall are tied on the third place as both malls have a total area of 2,700,000 square feet. However, South Coast Plaza was opened earlier as it started its operation in 1967. Located in Costa Mesa, California, this high-end mall is the biggest in the West Coast. It was developed by C.J. Segerstrom & Sons and owned by the Segerstrom family. It has over 250 stores and its $1.5 billion annual sales are the highest in the country. Some of its anchor stores include Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Sears, and Macy’s.
