The Twine does not hold up its own weight
It has grown significantly larger between 2005 to 2011. There is the slight problem of flattening due to the weight. Also, the additional twine is wound around the ball in a horizontal manner. There is no way to add twine to the bottom. The whole thing is a single ball of twine, with twine added by tying to the end of that single thread. There is no internal support. The oldest twine is inside the big ball and has been there since 1953.
