Tibetan Mastiff
This breed is found in Asia, particularly in Tibet, China and neighboring regions. It was originally bred by nomadic tribes as a guard and companion when they transfer from one place to another. It is a guard dog that is capable of defending its owners from leopards, wolves and similarly-sized animals. It has a thick and dark coat, perfect for the cold weather in the mountains of Central Asia. It can reach a height of 33 inches and weigh up to 72 kilos.
