The foreboding beach break of Puerto Escondido is a hard wave to surf. This has led to a lot of XXL submissions. Located in Oaxaca in Mexico, Puerto Escondido provides an unpredictable and treacherous experience. This turned out both well and good for submissions for the 2015 XXL Awards, when Ricardo Dos Santos of Brazil won the Wipeout of the Year for his Puerto Escondido submissions.
