The 1964 Narail-Magura Tornado
Before the 1977 tornado, Bangladesh was hit by another super tornado in 1964, this time in Narail and Magura. It smashed through no less than seven villages and took 550 lives. Another 400 people went missing and were never found. They were presumed dead. Since data recording at that time was still in its infancy, information on the actual damage was blurry. However, it does not take away the fact it was a deadly tornado.
