Crater Lake
Crater Lake is a majestic part of one of the national parks located in Oregon. It looks so beautiful especially with its ice capped ridges surrounding the blue waters of the lake. However, it is actually what remains of the huge volcano Mount Mazama. The original volcano stood about 11,000 feet in height. When it exploded about 7,000 years ago, its height went down to its present size of 2,400 feet.
