The mall opened in 1963 and it’s located in King of Prussia, which is part of the Montgomery County in the state of Pennsylvania. When it was built, it was separated into two buildings, namely The Court and The Plaza. It recently had a major expansion, which also combined the two areas into one huge building. The Kravco Co. developed the mall, while Simon Property Group manages and owns 97% of its share. King of Prussia Associates owns the remaining 3%. It is home to several upscale retail stores with anchors that include Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Lord & Taylor. Its total area is 2,900,000 square feet.
