The 1951/1956 Valetta Tornado
Valetta, Malta was hit by a deadly and destructive tornado not once but twice! These freaks of nature happened in 1951 then in 1956. The pair was two of the most deadly that ever happened in Earth’s history. Each of them easily took about 650 lives. Again, both of these started out on the water and developed into full-fledged tornadoes as they hit ground. Damages inflicted by both were insurmountable.
