Aventura Mall
This mall was opened in 1983 and it’s located in Aventura, Florida. With a total area of 2,700,000 square feet, this is the biggest mall in the state. It was developed by Edward J. DeBartolo Corp. and Oxford Development Co., while Turnberry Associates manages and co-owns it. Simon Property Group owns majority of the share. The three-story mall has over 300 retail stores with anchors that include AMC Aventura 24 Theatres, Sears, two Macy’s, J.C. Penney, Bloomingdale’s, and Nordstrom. There’s also a food court and various restaurants at the main entrance of the mall. It’s also a transit hub for Broward County Transit and Miami-Dade Transit.
