Carolina Panthers: Rashard Anderson
The Carolina Panthers drafted Rashard Anderson in the 2000 NFL draft with the number 23 pick. He spent his first year as a part time starter for the team. He spent his whole second season suspended for violating substance abuse rules. The suspension was extended for a second consecutive year because he failed to secure the entire set of requirements needed to have him reinstated. When he was ready to come back, the organization decided to release him.
