Donated to Cawker City
The Giant Ball of Twine has its own shelter in Cawker City, Kansas. The open sided design allows it to be seen and noticed by tourists. It is a great source of pride for the city, and displaying it out in the open is one way of drumming up interest. If Frank Stoever had not donated the twine to the city, it would not have gotten this large. It is only a matter of time before it gets too large for its current shelter.
