15 Biggest Sharks Ever Recorded, #12 is a Monster!

Mexico’s Great White Shark (2,000 pounds)

On April 2002, commercial fishermen caught a 20-foot long great white shark weighing 2,000 pounds. They were fishing in the Sea of Cortez off the coast of Mexico. The average female great white shark measures 15 to 16 feet, with males measuring 11 to 13 feet long. The legendary shark from jaws was 25 foot long, which places it beyond the size of even the largest great white sharks ever caught.
