Nazaré
You would not normally think of Portugal as a stop in the search for world record rides. However, the surf at Nazaré is a sight to behold and a challenge for surfers worldwide. Among the other challenges of Nazaré is the size and height of the surf, along with the strong current. Surfers are forced to surrender to the elements when riding the Nazaré. Obviously, this is not the spot for beginners.
