The 1969 East Pakistan Tornado

The East Pakistan tornado of 1969 is the second biggest tornado in history. It hit land on the 14th of April, 1969. The lost lives that were accounted for numbered over 700. Injured people numbered to 4,000. The tornado started in Dhaka which was then part of Pakistan. This twister entered the area of what is now the Bangladesh part of Pakistan and claimed another 300 lives bringing the total to over 1,000 recorded deaths.
