The 1925 Tri State Tornado
This has got to be the deadliest tornado that landed in America. The year was 1925. The statistics of this twister are still unsurpassed in the country to this day. It has been declared the most fierce and destructive one ever to hit the mainland. According to the tornado measuring scale, the Fujita, this one measured an F5, the biggest and most destructive tornado of all. It spurned 8 mini tornadoes along its path and stayed for 3 hours.
