St. Bernard
The St. Bernard is not just a cuddly breed. It was originally bred for mountain rescues, and one particular St. Bernard is famous for rescuing upwards of hundred people trapped or lost in mountains. The Italian and Swiss Alps are where it is popularly bred to help in rescues. Its height can reach up to a whopping 36 inches and can weigh up to 120 kilos.
