Bangladesh gets another hit on this list at number three. This one happened in 1996 and paved a path of destruction starting from Madarganj to Mirzapur. The total distance between these places is about 1,000 kilometers. While it recorded the most damage to these two places, it caused various levels of damage to more than 30,000 houses. Over 700 people suffered the wrath of this powerful force of nature. Some were thrown up to a mile away.
