In Texas
Lake Amistad in Del Rio, Texas was where one of three monster alligator gars was caught. It was the smaller of the two biggest gars, weighing 160 pounds and 7 feet in length. Unfortunately the third gar did not have an available measurement. It was only two of three gars that were measured.
